World Boxing News will be scoring live on a feast of action on Saturday as world titles galore are on the line in London, England and Macau, China respectively.
First up from Cotai Arena at the Venetian Resort will be Filipino superstar Nonito Donaire’s WBA ‘super’ featherweight title challenge against Simpiwe Vetyeka from 2pm BST/7am ET.
The bill also includes the WBA ‘regular’ title bout between Nicholas Walters and Vic Darchinyan, plus the IBF featherweight battle featuring belt holder Evgeny Gradovich and Alexander Miskirtchian.
Then it’s off to Wembley from 6.30pm BST and 1.30pm ET as Carl Froch and George Groves face-off in what is billed as the biggest British fight in boxing history by Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn.
Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua kicks off the event against Matt Legg as he bids to maintain his perfect record, whilst Jamie McDonnell goes for WBA gold against Thailand’s Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat.
Kevin Mitchell fights unbeaten Ghislain Maduma in a lightweight contest, which is then followed by James DeGale’s IBF super-middleweight title eliminator against Brandon Gonzales.
At round 10pm BST, Froch and Groves will collide in the ring once again, with many predicting another barnstorming bout like thier first meeting in November.
