The undercard competitors for Saturday’s big grudge match between Carl Froch and George Groves weighed in on Friday as the home fighters look for a clean sweep at Wembley.

Olympic gold medallist and former Groves opponent, James DeGale faces unbeaten American Brandon Gonzales for the right to face the main event victor, whilst lightweight Kevin Mitchell also faces a US-based fighter witha perfect record in Ghislain Maduma. Londoner Mitchell is hoping to snare a shot at IBF title holder Miguel Vazquez with a win that would also erase the memory of his last football stadium bout when he lost to Michael Katsidis at his beloved Upton Park.

Jamie McDonnell, who never lost his IBF bantamweight belt in the ring, hopes to land the vacant WBA version against Thailand’s Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat, whilst the second Olympic champion on the bill, Anthony Joshua was in fantastic shape as usual as he continues his progress against Matt Legg.

Undercard weights from Wembley:
