Phil Jay 24/05/2014

World Boxing News will be scoring live on site tonight as Adonis Stevenson makes his debut under the Showtime banner against Andrzej Fonfara.

The 36 year-old puts his WBC light-heavyweight title on the line for the third time against the Polish puncher at his beloved Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

Also featuring on the bill is Canadian favourite David Lemieux who is looking to move towards a world title shot at middleweight with a win against Fernando Guerrero.

Third of the Showtime televised bout is undefeated Jermell Charlo, who is out to erase the memory of his brother Jermall’s disappointment at not being able to fight IBF light-middleweight title holder Carlos Molina.

Jermall was due to challenge the Mexican earlier this year until Molina was arrested and the fight was called off. Jermell will tackle Charlie Ohta at 154lbs in a bid to extend his unblemished record.
