Mayweather v Maidana/Khan Collazo: Live scorecards on WBN tonight

Phil Jay 03/05/2014

World Boxing News will be scoring live tonight on site as Floyd Mayweather participates in a huge PPV unification bill against Marcos Maidana at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pound for pound number one Mayweather, 37, aims to keep up his extraordinary undefeated record that has seen him fend off 45 opponents since turning pro – as the American puts his WBC welterweight title on the line in a bid to add Argentine puncher Maidana’s WBA version.

In a double co-feature, fledgling 147lber Amir Khan and New York’s finest Luis Collazo battle it out for the chance to face Mayweather in the next twelve months, whilst Adrien Broner looks to recover from his devastating loss to Maidana earlier this year against Carlos Molina.

Mayweather protege J’Leon Love goes up against Marco Periban at super-middleweight and there are places on the bill for British duo Ashley Theophane and 2012 Olympic medallist Anthony Ogogo.

A host of other TMT fighter’s are scheduled to fight over the weekend, with undefeated Romanian-born Ronald Gavril amongst them.

Log on to the WBN website from 9pm ET and 2am UK time to follow how the cards are scored live.
