Chavez v Vera II weigh-in: Salido misses weight, loses WBO title (photo)

Orlando Salido lost his WBO featherweight title on the scales on Friday after coming in 2.25lbs over the 126lb limit for his supposed defence against Vasyl Lomachenko.

As a result, the Mexican can no longer keep his belt with victory and former amateur star Lomachenko is now the only fighter who can claim the championship. Salido was als fined $15,000.

In the main event, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Bryan Vera both made super-middleweight by scaling 167.5lbs respectively.
