‘Del Boy’ is fighting the tough American as he builds up to a big money rematch with Peter’s nephew Tyson Fury in the summer, and after going up against both fighters, the coach has warned Chisora to be on his game in a fortnight’s time.
“Johnson is a tough test for any heavyweight in the world,” Fury told World Boxing News.
“We had the pleasure of fighting him and also working with him as a sparring partner in Canada. Kevin loves to come forward and is always up for a fight.
“He’s is very underestimated by the majority of the fans, but believe me, the boxing world know this guy can fight. He is a very dangerous fight for Chisora to take.”
Chisora/Fury tickets have been in high demand for what is the latest instalment at the Olympic venue – as the two UK fighters aim to manoeuvre their respective opponents to set up the rematch.
The first time they met, Fury overcame a grossly overweight Chisora on points in 2011, although the pair are now in better shape than in previous years and will be going all out to snare a potential WBO title shot as Wladimir Klitschko.
Fury battles Argentinian Gonzalo Omar Basile in his half of the main event to be broadcast on BoxNation.
