Heavyweight David Price back to winning ways with easy KO

In a confidence-building exercise, Price made light work of the Hungarian in super-quick time.

He now needs a steady rise in opposition if he wants to be a heavyweight division force. And not be left behind by compatriots Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora.

The 30 year-old was facing a fighter beaten by Dorian Darch, who was taken apart by Fury’s younger cousin Hughie. Darch never really stood any chance of getting past the first round.

Price can now move on from his horror showings against Thompson with a win under his belt for new promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland.

The Sauerland’s need to keep the big man busy with another outing shortly.

EARLY ACTION

Earlier in the night, Noel Gevor and Otto Wallin kept up their perfect records by recording victories over Loris Emiliani and Ferenc Zsalek, respectively.

Gevor won in the seventh round to make it six KO’s from his ten outings, whilst Wallin won unanimously over four rounds to move to 5-0.
