Seventeen fights for 2014

After plenty of deliberation, World Boxing News has released the annual list of bouts that could potentially light up this year with one fight for every weight division.

Without being a prediction of what encounters will take place, the list is more in hope than anything else, with three of the 17 named last year actually making it to the ring.

Floyd Mayweather v Saul Alvarez, Nonito Donaire v Guillermo Rigondeaux and Carl Froch v Mikkel Kessler II were the three to come to fruition, with plenty of eye-catching fights on offer in 2014.
