Mike Tyson on UK ban: If that’s what they want I won’t go there anymore

Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has stated that he will not contest a new law that bans him from entering the United Kingdom in a recent interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation.

The 47 year-old, who has a rape conviction on his criminal record which he denies, is not allowed to travel to UK shores after the immigration criteria was altered in 2012, despite previous visits that went without incident.

Speaking with the BBC, Tyson said that he will respect the decision to block his UK appearances, although was clearly hurt when questioned on the subject.
