Mundine willing to travel to the US for Mosley

Mundine, a former world champion at two different weights, was distraught in the aftermath of Mosley returning home on the eve of their clash and has assured his fans that he will be back in the ring in the short-term.

“I’ll fight Mosley in America that is not a problem,” Mundine told World Boxing News via his live online press conference today.

“We will have to work out the logistics and economically, but definitely I will fight him in America. I’ll fight him anywhere on the planet.”

Mundine then went on to confirm that he will now consider other opponents for his return, which he plans to make before the end of the year: “If we can’t get Mosley we will go down the ladder to find the best opponent available. I want to fight soon and that should be in December.”

The 38 year-old has been out of the ring since losing to compatriot Daniel Geale in January, whilst Mosley, 42, is back in the win column following high-profile defeats to pound for pound stars Floyd Mayweather and Saul Canelo.
