Haye: I’m the real deal, Fury won’t ever win a title and I will humiliate him

David Haye has released his boldest statement yet as the ‘Hayemaker’ prepares for battle with British rival Tyson Fury on September 28 at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester.

The 32 year-old, who has been relatively quiet in the build-up by his previous standards, had some stern words for his upcoming heavyweight enemy as he gave a video description of what he plans to do to Fury to The Daily Mail’s Adam Hooper.

At his gym in Vauxhall, London, Haye dismissed Fury’s recent boasts that elavate his current standing in the boxing world and plans to deliver another big-hitting performance for the fans in just over three weeks’ time.

“I am getting ready to destroy Tyson Fury,” Haye declared in the video. “It’s a fight the world has been begging for and I am going to give it to them.

“Tyson Fury has been begging for it and telling everyone that he is not only going to beat me but knock me out. So this is my time to prove to him, the world that he is nothing but a joke. I am the real deal. I am the guy that has won multiple world titles. He is the guy who hasn’t and he never will.

“I can’t wait. Training has been going great. I am feeling great and punching hard. Sparring has been going fantastic and I cannot wait to get in there. “I can’t wait to get through those ropes and destroy Tyson Fury.

“He claims he is the best fighter that has ever lived, claims he is the best fighter that will ever live – what a joke! September 28th Tyson Fury is not only getting knocked out he’s getting humiliated.”

Fury, 25, has been preparing with his previous opponent Steve ‘USS’ Cunningham at his Belgian training camp, with the American former world cruiserweight champion even predicting that the 6ft 9ins bruiser will have too much power for Haye.

It won’t be the first time Haye has dealt with a much bigger fighter in the ring after his stunning win over 7ft giant Nikolai Valuev in 2009 and the Londoner will hope to produce something even more spectacular later this month.
