Boxing champion Carl Froch has been revealed as one of the contestants on ITV’s new dance series ‘Stepping Out’ which begins this Saturday night at 6:30pm on the network.
The 36 year-old fighter will take part alongside his partner Rachael Cordingley and will compete against five other couples in the brand new programme – which has been commissioned after the sustained success of the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ show.
Froch and Cordingley will be joined on the show by TV makeover guru Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen and his wife Jackie, former boyband member Brian McFadden and his girlfriend Vogue Williams and Celebrity Big Brother winner Denise Welch and her new husband Lincoln Townley.
Davina McCall will present ‘Stepping Out’ which will see the couples attempt to master a genre of dance every week in a bid to be impress the Front Row Panel and gain the votes of the public.
Former Spice Girl Mel B, Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner and ballet king Wayne Sleep will be running the rule over the would-be dancers, who will hope to be crowned the first ever champions of the series.
JLS member Oritse Williams and his girlfriend AJ Azari and ex-Dempsey and Makepeace pair Michael Brandon and Glynis Barber complete the line-up.
