Klitschko shocked at ‘brawl’ reports, digs at ‘Chisora’s psychological issues’

The 37 year-old, who holds four world titles in the heavyweight division, was supposedly involved in a heated exchange with Chisora, who also confirm they were at the same venue, although Klitschko was obviously disappointed as some in the media classed their exchange as a ‘brawl.’

“I’m quite shocked by the recent British media stories about an alleged brawl between myself and Dereck Chisora,” said Klitschko. “I am a professional prizefighter and let my fists do the talking only inside the ring.”

Chisora, 30, has been involved in previous altercations with both Wladimir and brother Vitali prior to his WBC title challenge against the latter in February 2012 and still harbours hopes of fighting either of the formidable Ukrainians at some point in the future.

A recent win over undefeated Malik Scott has propelled ‘Del Boy’ back into the spotlight for the right reasons, although ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ is seemingly still upset by Chisora’s antics last year when he publicly spat water in his face.

Wladimir has made his feelings known about Chisora’s behaviour in the past, but has now refused to be drawn into any hype that could be built into a possible clash between the two by adding: “I don’t want to comment on Chisora’s psychological issues.”
