Chisora and Klitschko reignite war in Ibiza nightclub

Phil Jay 29/07/2013

Former world title challenger Dereck Chisora and current heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko have been allegedly pulled apart by nightclub bouncers after bumping into each other on holiday in Ibiza

According to Chisora, who has history with both Klitschko brothers following his antics when tackling WBC champion Vitali in 2012, the Briton clashed twice with WBA, WBO and IBF title holder Wladimir at the popular resort.

Chisora, 29, was reprimanded after he disgustingly spat water in the younger Klitschko’s face on the back of slapping older sibling Vitali in Germany last year, although nothing had since manifested between the trio since ‘Del Boy’ was defeated on points in his only world title chance to date.

This latest incidents have been brushed off as mere exchanges of words by Chisora, although he did tell ATG Radio that he told Wladimir he wants to fight him after recently being made mandatory challenger to EBU champion Kubrat Pulev.

A recent victory over previously unbeaten American Malik Scott has thrust Chisora back into the limelight in the top division for the right reasons and it will be interesting to see if another chapter of the Chisora v Klitschko saga will be written in future,
