Eventim big fight sales are now stating (at 2pm BST) that tickets under the £215.000 are unavailable as the mega-fight between David Haye and Tyson Fury nears a maximum sell-out for Manchester Arena on September 28.
The only way for fans clambouring to get cheaper tickets would now be to call 0844 847 8000, although early reports from some disappointed fans today are that there are only tickets priced £135 and above remain.
The highly-anticipated fight had been predicted to be full to capacity early on by many experts, but even former WBA champion Haye himself was suprised when declaring that 10,000 tickets went in the first three hours of sale yesterday.
Those fans who do miss out on making it to Manchester will be able to order the blockbuster fight through Sky Sports Box Office prior to the clash and on the night for £14.95 as two of the best heavyweights in the world prepare to collide.
If yesterday’s press conference announcement was anything to go by, fans are in for an explosive build-up to a sure-fire knockout contest, with Haye an early 1/4 on favourited to pick up the victory.
