World Boxing News has learnt from a close source to former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, that the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ is planning to move into the world or promoting in the coming months.
According to the reliable contact, Tyson is preparing his move into handling professional fighters and WBN also had it confirmed that a formal press release is in the early stages with a view to being handed to the media in the next few weeks.
Tyson, 46, has been an avid spectator since retiring from competing in the pro ranks in 2005 and is now more likely to be seen on the TV or cinema screen since turning his hand acting successfully upon hanging up his gloves.
The one-time undisputed king of the sport and the youngest ever to win the biggest prize boxing has to offer will no doubt be welcomed back with open arms as ‘Iron’ Mike takes to making champions of the future.
WBN will have more from this story once given the green light from those close to Tyson to print the information obtained in full.
