Hughie Fury drops Alex Rozman three times en route to first round win

18 year-old Hughie Fury made a successful American debut on the back of his first pro victory in Canada last month by stopping Alex Rozman in just one round at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The younger cousin of top of the bill Tyson Fury, 24, had way too much for Rozman from the word go and put him on the canvas at will until the bout was halted to save him from further punishment.

Hughie has now kept up his 100% KO record as he moves into his third and fourth pro outings back in Canada in the next two months, with the 6ft 6ins bruiser looking a menacing figure for any heavyweight to contend with.

Also on the card, lighweight prospect Karl ‘Dynamite’ Dargan defeated the injured Edward Valdez in two rounds to push his record to 13-0 with his seventh career stoppage.
