Limited details can be released on the incident at the moment a police investigate, although Ndou, 41, reached out to WBN to say that his relative was stabbed at least twice and that his injuries were fatal.
“It’s a sad time for the Ndou family following this loss of a great man, Uncle Caiphus,” Ndou told World Boxing News.
“It’s been a long time since I have personally been this devastated. I will fight hard until these culprits are brought to justice. All I can say is a big part of me had been taken away. I looked up to this man and to see him taken away like this just left me shattered.
“May his soul rest in peace. Thanks to everyone for the messages of support and prayers during this time. God bless.”
