Kubrat Pulev linked to David Haye bout on June 29

The 31 year-old, who has a formidable 17-0 record, is reportedly being lined up for what would be only his third contest outside of his German base, according to an article published by Polish-based website BoxingBet.pl.

If the rumours are true and Pulev does accept the clash, Haye, 32, would be getting the top 10-ranked opponent he craves for his first bout in eleven months and will be a up against a dangerous foe in the 6ft 4ins current European champion.

‘The Hayemaker’ last fought when becoming the first to stop Dereck Chisora in front of 40,000 fans at West Ham United’s Upton Park Stadium, whilst Pulev knocked out 27-0 Alexander Ustinov last September in the first defence of his EBU belt.
