Light-heavyweight contender Isaac Chilemba has told WBN that he is unmoved by the antics of Tony Bellew at yesterday’s Liverpool weigh-in and is focused on the job at hand of taking his WBC silver title.
The 25 year-old looked a little flustered as Bellew stared him down at both the press conference and weigh-ins for their upcoming fight, but the South African has made assurances that nothing has bothered him so far in the build-up.
“I am so good and ready for this fight with Bellew,” Chilemba told World Boxing News.
“Everything is so fine, the weigh-in was a great laugh. I had fun and I am ready to do my job.”
Bellew, 30, goes into the clash with Chilemba as a 4/11 favourite to come through his next test in front of thousands of adoring fans at the Echo Arena – with the victor in line to face the winner of Chad Dawson v Adonis Stevenson at the end of the year.
