Floyd Mayweather corners J’Leon Love to 15th pro win

Pound for pound number one fighter in the world Floyd Mayweather was on hand in Detroit tonight to guide middleweight prospect J’Leon Love to another victory on his resume.

Love, 25, had few problems in dealing with late replacement Derrick Findley and scored a decisive 100-90, 99-91 twice victory on the judges scorecards, although I saw it a little tighter at 97-92.

Findley took at least two rounds of the bout for me, which was littered with low blows, although Love’s class ultimately told as the Michigan native kept his unbeaten run intact with Mayweather as his head cornerman.
