Robert Helenius v Michael Sprott pushed back to March 23

The bout was originally scheduled for March 2, although Sprott told World Boxing News that there had been a three-week delay and he expects the fight to go ahead on the date mentioned, probably in Germany.

Sprott, 38, also explained that the clash could be for the EBU title currently held by Kubrat Pulev as the Bulgarian is widely thought to be vacating the belt instead of facing mandatory challenger in Helenius.

Finland’s 29 year-old man mountain Helenius recently returned from a year out to score a decision win over Sherman Williams, whilst Sprott stunned Edmund Gerber at the second time of asking in December.
