Evander Holyfield: I am still not retired!

Phil Jay 08/02/2013

Four-time world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield has vehemently denied that he has retired from the sport after WBN contacted him over rumours the ‘Real Deal’ had made the decision to bring his career to an end.

The 50 year-old, who hasn’t fought since a May 2011 victory over Brian Nielson, has been the subject of widespread talk that he has fought his last fight, although Holyfield is adamant that he will fight again soon.

Veteran Holyfield has already explained his position to WBN in the past as he eyes one last world title shot and with his latest statement, continues to be intent on chasing whover posseses the belts.
