Ex-world champion Haye pulled off a spectacular end to the fight by flooring Chisora twice on his way to a 24th stoppage win and both boxers confirmed that they are leaving all the pre-fight shenanigans behind them.
“Whatever beef was there prior to the fight I believe is squashed now, well at least from my side and I hope vice versa,” said Haye.
“Yes same here,” replied Chisora as the room erupted into applause. “It was a great fight and everything is done now.”
Chisora, 28, was humble in his defeat and may now have gained himself a lot more fans for his conduct in the build-up and after the fight and can surely come again after making the fight a good advert for British boxing despite all the needle.
