Lupo, 32, has just one loss in 22 bouts and is eyeing a huge domestic fight with ‘The Italian Sensation’ before he heads towards a world title challenge at 147lbs and has waged a Twitter campaign against the 22-0 27 year-old in recent days.
“Phil Lo Greco is a scared Italian Chicken,” Lupo told World Boxing News.
“He hasn’t fought noboday and now he is avoiding me. He can’t hide on Twitter forever and he knows when we fight he will be 22-1.
“He has too many excuses, he should take the challenge.”
