Prospect Adrien Broner scores tenth straight stoppage

Boxing 2022

Cincinnati’s Adrien “The Problem” Broner showed why he is one of the hottest young prospects in the fight game last night, knocking out John Revish in the opening round to improve his stand-out record to 19-0, with 16 stoppage wins.

Broner, 21, fought on home soil at the Taft Masonic Temple. He had the 26-year-old in trouble in the first few seconds of the bout.

‘The Problem’ staggered the Louisiana-born former middleweight with a left hook before piling on the pressure to seal his ninth first-round victory.

In the process, Broner picked up his second professional title. He claimed the WBC USNBC lightweight title.

Broner announced his challenge for a world title later this year before jetting off to spar with Devon Alexander.

Alexander has a unification bout with Timothy Bradley forthcoming.
