Klitschko offers UK champ Chisora Dec 11 title shot after Peter win

WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has offered Derek Chisora the chance to challenge for his titles on December 11th in Germany.

It would be an opportunity for British and Commonwealth Champion “Del Boy” Chisora to beat compatriot David Haye to a shot at the 6ft 6″ Ukrainian.

Klitschko is currently on a fantastic run and is unbeaten in six years.

Chisora, 26, is 15-0 as a professional. He stopped fellow Briton Sam Sexton in the ninth round of his last bout.

In the process, the Londoner added the Commonwealth Boxing Council title to the British strap he already had in his possession.

Klitschko, 34, stopped Sam Peter in the tenth in his last defense. “Dr. Steelhammer” is hoping to stay busy in an attempt to sure up a unification fight.

WBA Champion Haye takes on Audley Harrison on November 13th in Manchester. The UK Pay Per View should see the winner agree to face Klitschko later in the year.

Chisora could upset the applecart if he accepts the offer and can rip the belts away from the dominant heavyweight champion.

It’s a tall order. But if successful, Chisora vs Haye or Harrison would see three world top division belts on the British Isles for the first time since Lennox Lewis retired.
