Aging heavyweights Golota and Saleta butt heads on February 23

Four-time world title challenger Andrew Golota returns for the first time in over three years when the Pole battles compatriot Przemyslaw Saleta at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland on February 23.

51-fight veteran Golota has not graced a boxing riing since suffering a stoppage defeat to slight heavyweight Tomasz Adamek and has participated in other forms of fighting and wrestling since his self-imposed semi-retirement in 2009.

The Warsaw-born bruiser now meets one-time European title holder Saleta, 44, on a stacked card in his home country as 45 year-old Golota seeks his first professional win since a 2008 unanimous decision over American Mike Mollo.

Saleta, who has a similar record to Golota consisting of 43 wins in 50 contests, has himself been away from prizefighting since 2006 and 'Chemek' now fights back in his homeland for the first time since 2005.

Also on the bill, undefeated heavyweight Artur Szpilka takes on Krzysztof Zimnoch, whilst light-heavyweight Pawel Glazewski makes his third appearance since his controversial loss to Roy Jones Jr. last June.
