The announcement was made in Belfast immediately following’s the undefeated Fury’s shutout decision of Francesco Pianeta.

Wilder vs. Fury, a 12-round matchup for Wilder’s WBC Heavyweight World Championship, will be produced and distributed by SHOWTIME PPV. A date and venue for the event will be announced shortly.

Promoter Frank Warren said details will be made public next week, whilst WBN understands a meeting and potential press conference could come as early as Monday.

Shelly Finkel and Wilder are due to fly back to the United States in a couple of days and will want things tied up before jetting off from London.

The 6-foot-7 Wilder is 40-0 with 39 knockouts and American’s only heavyweight champion since 2007.

The 6-foot-9 Fury is a former IBF, WBA and WBO Champion who has never been defeated in 27 professional fights.

Fury booked his place in the opposite corner to Wilder with a shutout over ten rounds at Windsor Park on Saturday.

After the verdict, Wilder took to the ring to square-up to Fury before both men stated the WBC heavyweight title clash was a done deal.

Not only Fury is convinced the contest will go down in the boxing capital of Nevada, some of Wilder’s team and those close to the fight have told WBN the fight will happen at the T-Mobile Arena, probably in November.

The fight will be broadcast on BT Sport Box Office in the UK.
