Shane Mosley advises Mikey Garcia NOT TO FIGHT Errol Spence or Terence Crawford right now

Making an appearance on Sirius XM’s Boxing Radio Show, Mosley said Garcia is aiming a little too high for his station, at the moment.

“I think that it’s very premature for him to jump up fight Errol Spence.  He’s not a small welterweight, he’s a big welterweight,” Mosley told Sirius XM.

“Spence can easily go to middleweight and fight someone like a GGG.  It’s gonna be really hard for Mikey Garcia to fight him.

“Maybe Terence Crawford; Terence Crawford’s gonna be hard too as well.  Somebody smaller; for him to move up and fight that type of welterweight, it’s gonna be very hard,” he added.

Garcia has big ambitions as he flirts with being pound for pound king in the near future, with only Vasyl Lomachenko ahead him in the current WBN P4P Top 50.

Facing Lomachenko himself would possibly be the biggest fight out there for the talented undefeated Garcia, who has the audacious knack of being able to fluctuate between 135 and 147 pounds.

Lomachenko recently underwent surgery and would not accept a fight until 2019, whilst many believe – like Mosley – that facing Spence is a bridge too far for Mikey until he fully acclimatizes to the division.
