Wilder posts video REMINDER of Joshua’s ‘BRING ME 50 MILLION speech’, accuses Briton of LYING

‘The Bronze Bomber’ reposted a video of Joshua specifically telling Wilder and his team to ‘bring me 50 million’ and ‘he will accept the fight’ – before the offer became a reality.

After mulling over the massive guaranteed purse, which included a stipulation to stage the fight on US soil, Joshua has decided against risking his belts due to what the four-belt champion labelled ‘tricks’ by the judges and officials in America.

All in all, Joshua is citing the possibility of him getting robbed of a decision in a fight the vast majority of people believe will never see the final bell.

It’s a huge disappointment, not only to the boxing fans but to Wilder also, who has now been informed he must agree to travel to the United Kingdom in order to get his shot.

Taking to social media to vent, Wilder accused Joshua of not wanting to take a risk in a bid to fully unify the heavyweight division for the first time in two decades.

“You see people talk the “GOOD” talk but are not prepared to walk thru the valley of the shadow of death to come and get it,” said Wilder.

“He said he once went to hell and back and he enjoyed it. ‬Ni, either the devil wasn’t there or ‬”HE LYIN.” So, “You can go to hell and back” and enjoy it, but can’t come and get this money in dat bag to store it.

“Now these are Just my thoughts,” he added.

An agreement between Joshua and Wilder now firmly hangs in the balance as promoter Eddie Hearn has already lined up a back-up in mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin.

Vadim Kornilov of World of Boxing Russia informed WBN this week a clash in September has been discussed and could be finalized by the end of this month.

“The meeting with Eddie Hearn went great,” Kornilov exclusively told World Boxing News.

“We are still ongoing in our negotiations for Alexander Povetkin to fight Anthony Joshua in September.

“The site and country is to be finalized soon but I am hoping we can get an understanding by the end of the month.”

On whether Ryabinskiy was worried about Joshua potentially reaching an agreement with Wilder for his next fight, Kornilov seemed calm in the notion that Povetkin would be fighting for a belt regardless of the opponent.

“I think that Joshua is willing to fight Povetkin, Wilder, or anybody. We just don’t know whether Wilder is willing to fight anybody,” he pointed out.

“What I do know is that Alexander will fight for the world title next. It doesn’t matter who it is, but Team Povetkin wants to fight for the world title and we are confident it will happen,” added Kornilov.
