At one point, the British referee got a little too close for his own liking as John Lewis took a belter of a left hand from Jack flush on the nose.

Luckily happening towards the end of the contest when Jack was tiring, John Lewis shook off the punch and carried on regardless.
Sporting some blood on his face, possibly not his own as Stevenson’s nose was bleeding profusely, the experienced Briton – whose motto is; ‘I am the Referee’ – saw out the clash to a draw on the cards.
It’s not the first time two-weight world champion Jack has laid hands on the third man in the ring as the Swede has previous form.

During his clash with James DeGale, which ironically was also scored even, Jack planted one on Arthur Mercante Jr. sending the official flying across the ring.
