‘Canelo needs to see a transmission specialist, was stuck in reverse for first GGG fight!’ – Sanchez

Ahead of the rematch in just under two months’ time, Sanchez opened up on his belief that Canelo avoided a war with Golovkin in favor of getting on his bike.

“I hope Canelo was able to see a transmission specialist for the rematch because in the first fight he was stuck in reverse,” said the top trainer.

“All I know is that after the first fight the fans were not booing Gennady Golovkin. The rematch took long to make because Canelo takes long to heal and had long memories of the first fight.”

Canelo is still being investigated regarding a small finding of Clenbuterol in his system, whilst the fight is not set to be in jeopardy at this point in time.

Both fighters are currently in training to meet again on May 5 in Las Vegas, the same venue as the initial clash.
