Upon Groves defeating Chris Eubank Jr. on Saturday night to reach a potential clash with Callum Smith, an excited DeGale tweeted regarding the potential for the pair to get it on for a second time later this year.

Groves beat DeGale in a grudge match way back in 2011 after the pair went through a rollercoaster build-up until fight night at The O2 Arena.
DeGale then went on to become a world champion before Groves but lost his IBF strap to Caleb Truax recently in a drab performance.
Despite taking the spoils in their fight, ‘The Saint’ has moved in a completely different direction and doesn’t seem ready to give DeGale a redemption chance just yet.
“DeGale will always be a good opponent, but as it stands right now, obviously after his last performance his value has diminished significantly,” Groves exclusively told Sky Sports.
“Even if he regains the IBF title, and does it behind closed doors in the States somewhere against a guy he should have beaten anyway in the first place, it’s going to make negotiations difficult.
“But that fight, I’m sure he will be craving it. It will always be a good fight for me, so we will have to wait and see.
“I’ve got one more fight left in this tournament, and then what’s next? I think we’re in the bucket list territory where, (it’s) who do I want to fight? Who is going to get me up?”
Should DeGale be able to regain his belt in a touted US return with Truax in April, Groves would be a no-brainer fight to make before both decide to eventually move up in weight to 175 pounds.
