Joyce devastatingly KO’s Jozic, wins for Hutchinson and Kiwitt

Despite being billed for eight rounds, ‘The Juggernaut’ needed just less than one as Jozic hit the deck thanks to a sweeping right hand and failed to answer the ten count.

The bell had actually rung to end the first, although the Croatian-German was in no position to continue and the bout was waved off.

Joyce moves on to a step-up encounter with an opponent to be named in the coming days on March 16, whilst manager Sam Jones and promoter David Haye are still attempting to entice Dereck Chisora to face the 32 year-old Olympic silver medallist on the Tony Bellew undercard come May 5th.

In the co-feature at welterweight Freddy Kiwitt carded a unanimous decision over late replacement Jumanne Camero, who stepped in for Tamuka Mucha during fight week.

Kiwitt was hit a little too often for his own liking but will perform better when there’s a title at stake at some point in the near future.

The final televised fight saw talented light heavyweight Willy Hutchinson take every round of six against Eric Mokonzo.

Hutchison dropped Mokonzo in the contest but ended up being taken to the final bell for the first time in his short three-fight career.
