World Boxing News has decided to delve into the Pound for Pound ratings in order to name the top ten fighters of European nationality.
Ahead of the United Kingdom preparing to leave the EU, this list will look decidedly different in the future as GB readies to enter the ‘Rest of the World’ realm.
Right now, Britain makes up a small part of the best Europeans, with undoubtedly the Eastern block being the dominant force in the sport.
P4P Top 10 Euroean Boxers

The number one fighter in the world, Gennady Golovkin was recently voted WBN Fighter of the Year for the fourth time in five years.
Golovkin can cement his place with a victory over Canelo Alvarez on May 5.
2 Vasyl Lomachenko
Proving his worth with a string of solid victories, there’s only a wafer-thin margin between ‘Loma’ and the top spot depending on ‘GGG’ and the Ukrainian’s respective upcoming performances.
3 Alexandr Usyk
Usyk is currently ‘very feel’ and showing his skills on the biggest stage as part of the World Boxing Super Series tournament. The skillful Ukrainian could soon be undisputed prior to a move up to heavyweight.
4 Anthony Joshua
A future target for Usyk, Joshua is the recognised king of the top division and could strengthen his stranglehold by defeating Joseph Parker next month.
5 Sergey Kovalev
Despite losing to Andre Ward twice, Kovalev picked himself up to regain the WBO title and still holds enough power to command the respect of anyone at 175 pounds.

Taking on the best around at 122 and 126 pounds, Frampton is completely fearless as he bids to once again rule the world in the featherweight division.
8 Badou Jack
Born in Sweden, there’s a big misconception Jack is American due to his ties to Floyd Mayweather, although the light-heavyweight is a proud European and faces Adonis Stevenson next with a third reign as a world champion at stake.
9 Ryan Burnett
Recently unified at bantamweight, Burnett was forced to give up one of his belts but remains the number one at the weight.
