Anthony Joshua favored to defeat Joseph Parker with ease, fight Deontay Wilder next

AJ is nailed on at 1/20 to overcome his Kiwi counterpart in Cardiff on 31st March, as well as being just 3/1 with the leading online bookmaker to knock Parker out within three rounds, and the odds suggest it’s the Bronze Bomber, Wilder, that will face Joshua next.

Tyson Fury could come calling after the Parker fight at 7/2, while it’s 8/1 for the Olympic gold medallist to renew his rivalry with Brixton puncher Dillian Whyte.

Stormzy 5/4 to sing AJ to the ring

UK grime artist Stormzy is Betway’s 5/4 favourite to be Joshua’s walk-on act, following on from his Shut Up performance at the o2 ahead of Joshua-Whyte in 2015.

Shutdown rapper Skepta is also short in the betting at 11/8, while Watford locals Rak-Su and Elton John can be backed at bigger odds of 25/1 and 100/1, respectively.

Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “Although Anthony Joshua’s mindset is likely to focus on taking things fight by fight, we firmly expect him to take Joseph Parker’s WBO belt in March and Deontay Wilder is fancied to follow.

“We make Wilder the 8/11 favourite to be Joshua’s fight immediately after the Parker bout, though a matchup with Tyson Fury hasn’t been discounted at 7/2.

“As for the Parker fight, AJ is as short as 1/20 to extend his professional record to 21-0 and just 3/1 to finish the fight within the opening three rounds.”
