Davies was dropped from his next scheduled fight appearance in London after posting offensive tweets directed at Tommy Coyle in regards to a controversial UK newspaper.
Despite apologizing twice, 25 year-old Davies is facing an uncertain future, whilst top Matchroom star and current heavyweight king Anthony Joshua received only slight acknowledgement of his questionable social media activity over the last few weeks.
Joshua was embroiled in a row over a ‘superior black race’ comment to fellow pro Eddie Chambers before bizarre pictures and quotes on fallen dictator Robert Mugabe appeared on the Londoner’s Snapchat.
Hearn admitted days after the furore began that Joshua ‘had a major problem’ with his social media, although the unified title holder wasn’t prompted to say sorry for any offense caused, nor did he even mention the posts upon his return from a holiday in Dubai.
Hundreds of replies to Hearn’s post (which can be seen when clicking the reply button on the tweet below) on Davies came in their droves with plenty asking why the Joshua situation was seemingly ‘swept under the carpet’ and silenced.

Even Chambers’ friend Tyson Fury asked if there was a media cover up, whilst the American victim of Joshua’s focus at the time has since raised his own issue with the Davies suspension.
Chambers basically accused Hearn of throwing him under the bus in hastily deleted tweets on Saturday before asking what happened regarding the Davies removal.
