Daniel Jacobs proved why he's one of the most talented middleweights on the planet with a one-sided victory over Luis Arias on Saturday night.

The former WBA title holder dominated the previously undefeated Arias, dropping the Cuban-born American before seeing out a wide points triumph.

Jacobs was making his Matchroom debut under the Eddie Hearn banner and is now hoping to land one of the top stars in 2018.

Gennady Golovkin is said to be setting up a return with Canelo Alvarez, although Jacbos could target the winner of Billy Joe Saunders v David Lemieux taking place next month.

Also on the bill, Jarrell Miller enhanced his heavyweight stock with a stoppage win over ex-world title challenger Mariusz Wach.

The weirdly-named 'Big Baby' proved too strong for the Pole, taking him out in the ninth round to improve his record to 20-0-1 with the 18th KO of his career.

In the light-heavyweight ranks, Artur Beterbiev claimed the vacant belt left behind by Andre Ward by halting Enrico Koelling in the twelfth and final round.

The big-hitting Russian, tipped for a world title since turning pro, picked up a recognised strap in just his twelfth professional contest.

On the undercard, Jose Ramirez impressed and moved towards a WBC super-lightweight chance by taking out Mike Reed in just the second round.

Finally, Alex Saucedo can now boast a 26-0 C.V following a third round knockout of Gustavo Vittori.
