Haye, 36, was beaten by Bellew back in March when suffering an achilles injury in an energy-sapping war, with both men walking away with a purse worth millions of pounds for their trouble.
Bellew secured his families future with the win and Haye is of the opinion ‘The Bomber’ would walk off into the sunset, fully admitting he never expected the one-time WBC cruiserweight ruler to accept the return.
“I know what Tony Bellew made for the first fight and he’s financially secure for life, he’s a multi-millionaire,” pointed out Haye.
“He’s a member on an exclusive club of British boxers who don’t have to fight, so I asked myself what are his motivations going into this second fight? He beat me the first time, plain and simple. He got the victory and his hand was raised. My corner threw in the towel and he won the fight.
“I didn’t think I’d get this opportunity again. I asked for it in the ring and said the fans want it, but I genuinely didn’t think it would happen. Tony wants to do it again so great.
“People rob banks to secure their family, they could get shot in a bank, would you go back to rob that same bank again. ‘Is your hatred so bad for the clerk behind the desk that you need to do it again.
“When we go toe-to-toe, is his desire to secure his family the same as his need to beat me?

“I want to be the best heavyweight in the world that’s my motivation, why is he going back into the lion’s den and do it again, maybe it’s for the fans.
“Once you rob a bank once, they get extra security and they might move the safe. I will not allow Bellew to hear the final bell. I’m doing everything possible to make sure that does not happen.
“You will see the very best David Haye on December 17,” he added.
