The 29 year-old, without a fight for almost two years, wants to get his career back on track following a period of personal problems and a suspected failed drugs test.

Fury is back in training once again, and according to the man himself, has lost two stone in weight in just two weeks as ‘2 Fast’ continues to hope for the green light to box again.

A return in May was then pushed further back to July before the Board admitted an independent panel had yet to confirm a date to hear Fury’s case.

In his latest public plea, Fury said: ‘How long must I be held up and kept out of action?

“Clear my name and let me return to my former glory. I’m innocent, see me free!”

Undefeated Fury has been forced to watch on as British rival Anthony Joshua took over his mantle as the best top division operator on the planet and knows a massive collision awaits once he’s fully fighting fit.

Eight-figure sums are already being talked-about for a potential Fury v Joshua encounter, with promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren both wanting to do business.

Sitting alongside Warren at the recent Billy Joe Saunders title defence, Fury seemed happy enough in his exterior until revealing his anguish some hours later.
