Despite ITV picking up the rights to show the WBSS in the UK, the Aleksandr Usyk v Marco Huck world title bout is only being shown on delayed taping on Sunday morning.
ITV Box Office will broadcast the clash at 11am the day after the contest takes place, something which has irked a large portion of fight fans.
It’s even worse for viewers in the United States as there’s no coverage whatsoever as networks have failed to take up an offer to screen both tournaments.
The 200 pound competition, which will see the winner walk away with four world titles, begins tonight – whilst the super-middleweight version starts next week when Callum Smith faces Erik Skoglund, an encounter ITV4 will be showing as it happens.

A wave of announcements by the WBSS came this week as the likes of Canada, Germany, Sweden and the Baltics snapped up the TV rights to what is one of the biggest events in boxing.
So why haven’t the likes of Sky Sports, BoxNation, Showtime or HBO taken up the option, only they know but WBSS appeased fans by jumping in at the last minute with a free live stream.
