Frank Buglioni has been ordered to negotiate a British light-heavyweight title defence against Callum Johnson before December, WBN has been informed.

Buglioni, who seems on the verge of fighting for another world title, is fresh from a victory over Ricky Summers as 'The Wise Guy' continues his good form.

Making the fight should be relatively easy as both are represented by Matchroom Boxing, although Buglioni has just under a month to decide whether to keep his Lonsdale Belt and defend against Johnson or move on with his career.

Should Buglioni decide to vacate, Johnson could then face either Hosea Burton, who is also trained by his own coach Joe Gallagher, or Frank Warren prospect Anthony Yarde.

Burton and Yarde have been given the same timescale to agree an eliminator to face Buglioni or Johnson but could be boosted forward if the Londoner vacates his belt and moves on.

Backing up both contests is a further eliminator between English champion Joel McIntyre and Liam Conroy, which has already been agreed for the new season.
