Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs) and Fonfara (29-4, 17 KOs) fought on May 24, 2014. Adonis was able to survive a visit to the canvass, get up and win a decision, successfully defending his belt for the third time.
“I’m very excited about this rematch with Fonfara, but it’s going to be a short night for him,” Stevenson said.
