WBC Int. title bonanza: Stat reveals 80% are future full champions

80% of the fighters, who have been World Boxing Council International Champions, have subsequently progressed to conquer an absolute world title of the World Boxing Council.

WBC International welterweight title (also the EBU belt at stake)

Sam Eggington (UK-WBC # 11) defended his WBC International title, by knocking out the then EBU champion, Ceferino Rodriguez, in the tenth round. Sam Eggington (21-3, 13 KOs) scored a spectacular KO over the Spaniard Ceferino Rodríguez (24-2, 12 KOs) to retain his WBC international crown .

WBC International super bantamweight

Sean Davis (12-1, 0 KOs) lost his WBC international title by being defeated by Gamal Yafai (12-0, 5 KOs) by TKO 7. Davis was knocked down once in the third round, twice in the fifth and three times in the seventh.

WBC super middleweight international title

Arena Box-Promotion, Ahmet Öner – Reginaldo & Oswaldo Kuchle – Promociones del Pueblo.

Turkish Avni “Mr. Robot “Yildirim conquered the vacant WBC international super middleweight title by defeating Mexican Marco Peribán.

At the end of the bout the three judges saw the Avni the winner with 116-112, 117-110 and 117-110 scores. Marco offered great resistance giving Yildirim a tough and competitive contest.
