Charlo was in full control for the duration of the bout and put Hatley on the floor initially in the third round.
The 26 year-old dominated further until closing the show in the sixth round with a punishing right hand that knocked Hatley out cold and sent him sprawling through the ropes.
Doctors worked on Hatley for a couple of minutes until he came around before Charlo could fully celebrate an impressive display.
