Cruiserweight puncher Lawrence Okolie and talented Sunderland prospect Josh Kelly appeared on the Ricky Burns v Julius Indongo card after signing with promoter Eddie Hearn in 2017.
Okolie, who took just 20 seconds to win his debut in Manchester on the Jorge Linares v Anthony Crolla rematch bill last month, once again showed off his considerable power by dropping Lukasz Rusiewicz three times on his way to another first round triumph.
The 24 year-old extended his ring time to 176 seconds with the win and will complete three bouts in just over a month at Wembley Stadium in two weeks’ time.
Kelly, 23, out-pointed Jay Byrne over six rounds in his first taste of the pro ranks to hit the ground running in his quest to make an early impression.

The main event at the SSE Hydro saw Namibian star Julius Indongo defeat Ricky Burns 120-108, 118-110 and 116-112 on the scorecards, whilst Scotty Cardle’s attempt to win the Lonsdale belt at 135 pounds outright against Robbie Barrett ended in failure.
Barrett was able to emerge victorious (115-113, 114-112, 114-114) to take the British belt back to Yorkshire.
Also on the bill, Charlie Edwards put his world title reverse to John Riel Casimero firmly behind him when out-pointing Iain Butcher convincingly over the championship distance.
Edwards won 120-108 (twice) and 120-109 with the judges.
