‘Bam Bam’ Carney banging on the title door

Midgley fought bravely but was no match for Carney, who nullified his opponents every attack before launching his own combinations that more often than not found the mark to Midgley’s head and body.

Carney took over completely from the second round and boxed to a unanimous and well deserved decision, much to the delight of the 1600 fans in attendance. This followed on from his 2 round TKO of Jak Johnson in his

This followed on from his two round TKO of Jak Johnson in his hometown of Liverpool and has opened up a few doors as he now faces Carl Chadwick (4-1-0) on the undercard of Gavin McDonnell’s title defence at the Ice Arena in Hull on the 25th February.

Following that, he’s back on the road again as he travels to the Devenish Complex in Northern Ireland to take on Feargal McCrory for the International Challenge Title.

Never one to back down from a challenge, there’s no reason why ‘Bam Bam’ can’t win both and be on track to challenge for an English title in the very near future.

The man himself is extremely confident and has stated that after he beats Feargal he will only be one or two fights away from the English title before then heading towards the British.

“Boxing for English, British and International titles is a dream come true for me and is all down to the dedication I put in and having the right people around me,” said Carney.

A warrior and a gentleman, the future looks bright for Carney.
