Tim Bradley: If Floyd Mayweather is back in the gym it’s for a reason

Mayweather 39, has also stated the door is ‘absolutely open’ to a comeback, fourteen months after gliding through his ‘final’ fight with Andre Berto.

Bradley, who thrice shared the ring with Manny Pacquiao, believes Mayweather’s movement towards training could only mean a 50th fight is on the cards in 2017.

“Floyd always stays sharp, he’s like new money every day,” Bradley told Fighthype.com.

“He’s serious, he stays disciplined and those dudes are just gifted, man. Floyd, if he’s back in the gym, it’s for a reason,” he added.

Opponents for Mayweather would never be in short supply as fighters always queue around the block for the chance to make a career-best payday against the greatest fighter of this generation.

The likes of Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman, Kell Brook, Amir Khan, Errol Spence Jr. and dare I say it – Manny Pacquiao, would all be in with a shout at welterweight, whilst a return with Canelo Alvarez or a blockbuster with Gennady Golovkin at 154 would be appealing contests to the pay-per-view connoisseur.

Whoever Mayweather chooses may well have the greatest shot of overthrowing the ‘Money’ man – given the fact that the American has once again been out of action for a lengthy period and is now pushing 40.
