Fury, 27, has dropped out of facing Boente’s charge Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch on two separate occasions and reportedly failed up to three separated drug tests over the past year and a half alone.
As the organisations that be mull over what seems to be straightforward decision to relieve Fury of his titles, Boente couldn’t help but give a true opinion when asked to comment on the current situation as it stands.
“I feel very sorry that UKADA never was open about that situation with us because then we would have insisted on VADA testing before the first fight,” Boente said.
“”I think Fury is probably the most unworthy heavyweight champion in history, not only because of this situation but because of the whole package of his sexist comments, his anti-Semitic comments and his homophobic comments that have been (well documented in the past).”
Klitschko continues to be linked to facing IBF title holder Anthony Joshua in November, whilst Fury will soon have no belts to call his own and risks fading into obscurity as his mental health deteriorates.
A retirement statement was retracted within hours on Monday as Fury struggles to keep himself in a positive light through social media channels, although the worst is probably yet to come when the fighter fully realises that someone else will soon be holding his championship status.
